Fact-finding analyses were discussed at local meetings organized by ANQA
Two local meetings were held at National Center for professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation (ANQA) on 20th and 22nd of October 2014 with the aim of discussing fact-finding on PhD education in Armenia taking into account Salzburg principles.
During the local meetings AM partners went through each of 10 Salzburg principles and highlighted their perspectives and approaches as well as attached importance to the proposals and changes relating to PhD education. The discussions were summarized by the working group of ANQA and EQ staff members.
WP2 was launched with the questionnaire on PhD implementation in Armenia provided by Heidelberg University. All Armenian partner institutions presented the current state of affairs regarding PhD education, and later embarked on the fact-finding. The questionnaire was submitted to UHMF for further analysis while the fact-findings were sent to ANQA who established a team with the involvement of Education Quality staff to analyze the approaches by the Armenian higher education institutions and discuss them during the workshop in Heidelberg.
